In honor of my newfound excitement for spring, here's a photo I snapped on my way home from the branding corral.
This picture sums up spring on our ranch: muddy roads, green grass and beautiful white snow on Elk Mountain.
It was a gorgeous day. There was no wind (a rarity lately, I assure you) and the temperature was in the low 60s. A day to spend outside. A day to dig in and get the yardwork accomplished. A day to savor being outside.
I love spring.
